S3.ID appointed the studio to design a specialised ATEX approved location device - built to survive a nuclear blast.  The design development encompassed electronics, lithium-ion technology and a casing that could withstand a blast and a seal that would not leak when submerged in water.

We worked directly with the client to generate both the visual identity for the product as well as technically correct solution. We developed our solution through a series of refined iterations to a fully resolved product.  ATEX compliance ensured we were designing around tight regulations.

We were referred to this project via the commissioned electronics engineer, a contact we had successfully completed another project. Their challenge was to find a studio that could deliver aesthetics married with an understanding of high volume production.

The successful delivery of mass produced, robust safety device was testament to our working practise with the client, electronic engineer, and manufacturer.
